I work all day in front of a computer. When I want to unwind, I play
on the computer. When I am bored, I turn on the computer. And earlier last year, after some really bad migraines, I decided that I needed a hobby I can do after work or at night
that doesn't require a computer. Thus this blog.
Wait, what?
I
want a hobby that is computer-like, with algorithms, logic, and
artificial intelligence, but doesn't require being on a computer. I
dabble in electronics, but find myself using the computer a lot during
the process and a computer is required if I am working on
microcontroller projects. I enjoy reading books and experiencing
stories, but I can only read so much.
With that, I'm
going to try gaming again. It has the story component I like and
involves algorithms and requires logic and thinking. I want something
simple I can do to unwind whenever I have time, so I am focusing on solo
gaming. Apparently, solo gaming has exploded, so much that I am a
little overwhelmed. I'm going to use this blog to document what I find,
as well as document my experiences. I'm planning a mix of reviews and
thoughts, as well as write-ups of my stories.
